description:
ilovemiami365 is an art project in progress, conceptualized by miami beach local, alissa christine:

"i love. miami is my 'canvas'. pictures are 'painted' daily... each image is in celebration of life as i witness it in any moment. some days are planned, some just happen. surprises are always the best."

mission:
to stimulate consciousness and gratitude of the pure and simple beauty of everyday life through photography. live. love. evolve.

goal:
alissa christine plans to photograph and select an image per day for the entire year of 2008 with aspirations of producing/publishing a coffee table book, dvd, calendar, posters, etc., compiled of the images, captions, blogs and experiences throughout the project. (seeking alliances)

FAQs
1. what is your geographical boundary for miami?
alissa christine:
this documentary represents miami as a feeling, not a geographical location. i plan to include as many neighboring communities as i can in the miami-dade county area.

2. are you only taking one photo per day?
alissa christine:
sometimes it's just one. but normally i shoot a series of photos per concept, then select my favorite for the day. some days feature composites of more than one photo from that day for the final image - as inspiration hits.

3. do you skip days and substitute other photos?
alissa christine:
i have not yet, and i don't plan to. every image is photographed on the same calendar day to which it applies. (i usually connect the subject of the photo with a pertinent daily occurance, and most of the time -- i have witnesses!)

4. why is there a delay in posting of images on the website?
alissa christine:
this is a project in progress. it is about "photographing" miami every day with the goal of publishing a book of the complete series... not about "posting" images every day. i developed this website as a supplemental element for viewers to engage in, and contribute to the process.
... this is is a labor of love... meaning i still work for a living (full-on). so, after my work projects, i magically create time (usually stolen from sleeping hours) to keep this project in motion :)

5. you took a photo of me but i don't see it posted on the website. how can i see it, and can i get a copy?
alissa christine:
yes, in exchange for compensation and a little patience. every image released is post-processed, meaning... it is perfectly color balanced and sometimes artistically enhanced. fees vary based on the extent of processing and quantity of images. it is also possible to request an online gallery of the images for your review for an additional fee.
