alissa christine has photographed an image per day for the entire year of 2008.
next steps are editing/selecting photos & producing/publishing a coffee table book, dvd, calendar, posters, etc., compiled of the images, captions, blogs and experiences throughout the project. (seeking alliances)

FAQs
1. what is your geographical boundary for miami?
alissa christine: this documentary represents miami as a feeling, not a geographical location. i have included as many neighboring communities as i was able, within the miami-dade county area.

2. did you take only one photo per day?
alissa christine: sometimes it's just one. but normally it is a series of photos per concept. some days feature composites of more than one photo from that day for the final image - as inspiration hits.

3. did you skip days and substitute other photos?
alissa christine: i have not cheated. every image has been photographed on the same calendar day to which it applies. (i usually connect the subject of the photo with a pertinent daily occurance, and most of the time -- i had witnesses!)

4. why is there a delay in posting of images on the website?
alissa christine: all the images will be posted on the website once the final book is released. this is currently a project in progress. i have "photographed" miami every day during 2008. the goal is to publish a book of the complete series. i developed this website as a supplemental element for viewers to engage in, and contribute to the process.

5. you took a photo of me but i don't see it posted on the website. how can i see it, and can i get a copy?
alissa christine: yes, in exchange for compensation and a little patience. every image released is post-processed, meaning... it is perfectly color balanced and sometimes artistically enhanced. fees vary based on the extent of processing and quantity of images. it is also possible to request an online gallery of the images for your review for an additional fee.

6. when will the book be available?
alissa christine: i am currently in the production process. plans are for mid 2009.
